Arlene Knoll, 62, of Elbow Lake, died Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at Prairie Ridge Hospital and Health Services, Elbow Lake. Visitation will be held at the Erickson-Smith Funeral Home in Hoffman on Tuesday, November 2, 2010, from 9a.m. to 11 a.m. There will be a prayer service at 10 a.m., with Father Arlie Sowada officiating. Arlene was born August 26, 1948, in Hale Township of McLeod County, Minnesota, along with her twin sister, Darlene, to Anton and Irene (Rivers) Knoll. Arlene was a resident of group homes in Cambridge, Faribault, Willmar, Urlingford, and Hutchinson. She was currently a resident at MSOC/ELNE in Elbow Lake. Arlene stayed busy on a daily basis at the DAC in Hoffman, Minnesota. She enjoyed going for rides, watching movies, dancing, animals - especially cats and dogs - and listening to music.
Arlene is survived by her twin sister, Darlene, of Elbow Lake and her family at the MSOC/ELNE home in Elbow Lake, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Delphine Webb and Stella Kosek; and two brothers: Steven Knoll and George Knoll in infancy.
