Betty Wilberg, 91 of Hoffman died Sunday, May 22, 2022, at the Barrett Care Center.
Betty Rose Wilberg was one of seventeen children born to Albin & Inga Larson on July 7, 1930, in Hoffman, Minnesota. She was raised in Hoffman and attended country school. On May 19, 1951, she was united in marriage to Roy Wilberg. She kept busy as a homemaker and housekeeper.
Betty enjoyed singing country music. She and Roy traveled a five-state area where Betty would perform at various locations. She was known for her yodeling. She even performed in Nashville. She loved flowers and had a beautiful flower garden in Hoffman. There wasn’t a weed to be found in her gardens! She was also a cat lover, especially Siamese cats.
Betty is survived by her sister, Mary (Dennis) Haagenson of Garfield; sister-in-law, LaVerne (Donald) Olson of Hoffman and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roy in 2014, and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, May 27, 2022, at Messiah Lutheran Church, Hoffman with Pastor Mark Mathews officiating.
Burial at Lands Lutheran Cemetery, Hoffman.
