Beverly Ambro

Beverly Jean Hill was born to Aaron & Edith (Card) Hill in Johnson City, New York on September 2, 1941. She received her schooling in New York and lived there until 1955 when she moved with her family to Minnesota. On September 22, 2001 she was united in marriage to John Ambro. The couple made their home in Barrett, MN. Bev enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, hunting, camping, and flower gardening. She also enjoyed dancing, listening to music, going to movies and going out for supper. She appreciated the simple things in life. Traveling with John with his work as an over-the-road trucker was a highlight. She especially treasured the time she spent with her family. Bev would go without so her children always had what they needed. Beverly Ambro passed away November 3, 2014 at Prairie Ridge Hospital in Elbow Lake at the age of 73 years. Bev is survived by her husband, John of Barrett; children, Teana (LeRoy) Milliken of Rochester, MN; David (Brenda) Ingalls of Rochester, MN; Tammy (Joe) Meinhiene of Palo, MN; Michael (Stevie) Ingalls of Biwabik, MN; Linn Hoffman (Rob Salley) of Pine Island, MN; Thersia (David) Lien of Barrett, MN; Sisters, Shirley (Marv) Walker of Oregon, Linda Holloway of Florida; Brothers, Dennis (Sylvia) Hill of Oregon, Kenneth Hill of Kasson, MN; Sister-in-law, Karen Hill of Mantorville, MN; 17 Grandchildren; 23 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild. Bev was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, Cameron Milliken, a sister-in-law, Billie Huelh; a brother-in-law, Bill Berg and her three best friends, Bonnie, Betty & Bernice.
