Charlene Wikholm

Charlene Wikholm, 77 of rural Elbow Lake died Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at Eventide Lutheran Home in Fargo.

Charlene Louise Wikholm was born on August 31, 1943, in Minneapolis, Minnesota the daughter of Franklin and Louise (Wadeson) Johnson.  As a child she moved with her family to Elbow Lake, where Charlene attended school, graduating from Elbow Lake High School in 1962.

Charlene and David Wikholm were married on June 1, 1974, in the First Presbyterian Church in Elbow Lake.  They lived in their home north of Elbow Lake and she was manager of the Elbow Lake Municipal Liquor Store for twenty three years, drove school bus for the Elbow Lake School District for twenty three years, and was employed a few years with Grant County Sherriff office as a dispatcher.  She enjoyed music, fishing, visiting with friends and liked her computer time communicating with people.   Charlene was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, was church organist and had been an elder.

She is survived by two children, Darren (Carolyn) Miller of Fargo, and Lori Wikholm of Fergus Falls; four grandchildren, Daniel (Nina), Tyler, Deven and Dillen; and by numerous relatives and friends.  Charlene was preceded in death by her husband, David Wikholm; parents, Franklin and Louise Johnson; and one brother, Roger Kenneth Johnson.

There will be no service.

Interment will be in the Union Cemetery at a later date.
