Donald Hedstrom

Donald E. Hedstrom, 74, Moorhead, died Monday, January 16, 2012, at Essentia Health in Fargo, ND. Donald Ellis Hedstrom was born on December 15, 1937, in Land Township, Grant County, Minnesota, to Albert R. and Florentina (Jochim) Hedstrom. He attended school in Barrett and graduated in 1956. He married Diane M. Lohse on May 25, 1964. Don had a dairy farm in Pencer, Minnesota. He loved farming and continued this passion even after moving to Breckenridge in 1976. Don spent the last 20 years living in Moorhead and passed away on January 16, 2012. Survivors include son Mark (Tricia) of Big Lake and grandsons Cory and Nathan, sister Diane of Naperville, Illinois, and brother Ken of Hoffman. He was preceded in death by his father Albert, mother Florentina, mother Cora, brother Bob, his former wife Diane, and two sons, Matthew Wayne (infant) and Matthew Ray.

Memorial Service: 12:00 pm Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012, Erickson-Smith Funeral Home in Hoffman Clergy: Rev. Bob Toso Burial: Bethel Cemetery, Hoffman Visitation: one hour prior to the service.
