Dorothy Christianson

Dorothy H. Christianson, 95, of Elbow Lake, died on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at the Barret Care Center.

Dorothy Harriett was born on April 4, 1926, in Elbow Lake, MN, the daughter of Carlos and Elvira (Berskow) Lee. She was baptized and confirmed at Erdahl Lutheran Chruch and attended school in Elbow Lake.

On February 4, 1945, she was united in marriage to Lloyd Christianson at Erdahl Lutheran Church. To this union came four children, Diane, Sharon, Bob and Connie. Dorothy and Lloyd farmed until 1965, where she was a homemaker and helped out on the farm where needed. She worked at the Bakery in Elbow Lake as well as doing Daycare for area families. Dorothy worked her later years as a school lunch lady in Elbow Lake until her retirement. She was a member of Bethlehem/West Elbow Lutheran Church as well as active in choir and Ladies Aid.

Dorothy enjoyed embroidering, cross stitch and playing cards. Dorothy and Lloyd cherished their time spent wintering in Arizona. God Bless the memory of Dorothy Christianson.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Diane (Jim) Wagner of Arvada, CO, Sharon Bartness of Garrison, MN, Bob Christianson of Dodge Center, MN, and Connie (Keith) Danzeisen of Mesa, AZ; nine grandchildren, 25 great- grandchildren and four great- great grandchildren, along with a host of relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlos and Elvira; husband, Lloyd; along with numerous other relatives.

Memorial Service: 1:00 P.M., Sunday May 23, 2021, at Bethlehem/West Elbow Church with a memorial gathering one-hour prior at the church.
