Eunice (Mrs. Carroll) Berskow, 74, of Elbow Lake, died Monday, May 10, 2010, at the ELEAH Medical Center in Elbow Lake.
Eunice was born on March 13, 1936, in Stony Brook Township to Edwin and Clara (Kolle) Bergan. She was baptized and confirmed at Rock Prairie Lutheran Church in rural Elbow Lake. She graduated high school from Elbow Lake in 1954.
On July 8, 1956, Eunice was united in marriage to Carroll Berskow. This union was blessed with one daughter. Eunice worked as an accountant for the Grant County Highway Department for 30 years until her retirement in 1998. Since her retirement, she loved spending her time gardening, playing with her grand-daughter, and going to bingo with her bingo ladies. Eunice was also involved in church activities and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Eunice is survived by her husband, Carroll, her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa (Chris) Melveney, her granddaughter, Emily, a brother, Alan (Vernell) Bergan, sister-in-law Dorothy Christianson, brothers-in-law, Glen Berskow and Alton (Agnes) Berskow, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents Edwin and Clara Bergan, two sisters, Muriel (Bergan) Berskow and Corrine (Bergan) Behrens, brother-in-law Lloyd Christianson, and father-in-law and mother-in-law Carlos and Elvira Berskow.
Service: 1:30 pm Thursday, May 13, United Lutheran Church, Elbow Lake

Visitation: 5-7 Wednesday at the Erickson-Smith Funeral Home; one hour prior to service at church on Thursday
