Gertrud Achterberg

Gertrud Achterberg, 88, of Elbow Lake, MN, died on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at PioneerCare in Fergus Falls, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister; husband, Arthur; son, Robert Weidhas and infant children, Bruce, John and baby girl. She is survived by her children, Rebecca (Noel) Swenson and children, Kyle, Dylan and Levi of Fargo, ND, Rosemarie Larson of Elbow Lake, MN and daughter in law, Dolly Weidhas and children Laura, Charmie and Curt of Elberta, Alabama; a great granddaughter, Willow along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation: Tuesday, July 28, 2015, from 5-7 p.m. at the Erickson Smith Funeral Home in Elbow Lake and continuing one hour prior to the service. Funeral Service: 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at United Lutheran Church in Elbow Lake. Clergy; Pastor Jean Ohman Interment: Ness Cemetery, Elbow Lake Funeral arrangements are with the Erickson-Smith Funeral Home of Elbow Lake for Gertrud Achterberg.
