Gloria Applin died Saturday, Dec. 4, at Prairie Ridge Hospital & Health Services in Elbow Lake.

Gloria was born November 19, 1926, in Elbow Lake, Minnesota, to Fred and Alma (Nubbe) Applin. She attended school in Elbow Lake where she graduated from high school. For most of her working years, she was the bookkeeper at the Mendelson Egg Company in Elbow Lake. She bowled on the Mendelson's team for many years and was a dedicated Twins fan. Gloria was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Elbow Lake.
She quietly found eternal peace on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at age 84. Gloria was preceded in death by four sisters, Arvela, Nina, Marvel, and Vera, and two brothers, Harold and Floyd. She is survived by older brother Wes and younger sister Marilyn, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
