Jerald Enga, age 51, rural Hoffman, died Thursday, September 6, 2012, at the Douglas County Hospital in Alexandria. Jerald Lee Enga was born on January 12, 1961, in Minneapolis, the son of Edwin and Mary (Therrien) Enga. He grew up in the Bloomington area, graduating from Bloomington Jefferson High School in 1979. While living in the Twin Cities, Jerry worked several places, including the Red Owl in his younger years. He later worked maintenance at various Montessori schools and at the LaSalle Nursing Home for twelve years. In 1994, Jerry moved to Hoffman and worked for Douglas County in maintenance, until he became disabled in 2004. Jerry was a very social individual and enjoyed time spent with friends at concerts and parties. He had many hobbies, including fishing, hunting, and motorcycles, especially Harley Davidson. He had the most amazing laugh, a great sense of humor and was loved by so many people. Jerry will be dearly missed by his father, Edwin of Hoffman; brothers Jeffrey of Hoffman and James (Kathy) of Apple Valley; a sister, Pamela (Charles) Lamb of Annandale; nieces and nephew Alisha Enga, Andrew Enga, Megan Enga, Penelope Lamb and Kristina Lamb; many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Joan Siewert. A Memorial Gathering will be held for Jerry on Saturday, September 15th, at 1:00 pm at the Kensington Municipal Bar & Cafe in Kensington.
