Julie Hausmann

Julie Hausmann, 70 of Kensington, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Bethany on the Lake in Alexandria, MN.

Julie Kay Hausmann was born May 24, 1951 to Joe & Pauline (Lamb) LaCroix in Glenwood, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed into the Christian faith at the Methodist Church in Glenwood. She attended and graduated from the Glenwood High School and furthered her education by receiving an Associate Degree at Alexandria Technical School for Carpentry.

On September 26, 1981, she married Gerald Hausmann at the Methodist Church in Glenwood. To this union three children were born, Melissa, Shawn, and Ryan.

Julie enjoyed stamping Tupperware, cards, quilting and tending to her flower bed. She always had a large garden and was a youthful spirit who loved to research ancestry. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Hoffman. God Bless the Memory of Julie Hausmann.

Julie is survived by her husband, Gerald of Kensington; daughter, Melissa (Drew) Peterson of Seattle, WA, and sons, Shawn (Devin) Hausmann of LA, California, and Ryan Hausmann of Kensington; siblings, Jay (Sheila) LaCroix of Sacramento, CA, John LaCroix, Les (Nancy) LaCroix of White Bear Lake, MN; 2 grandchildren, Maisie & Willa Peterson, and by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, and by numerous siblings.

Visitation: 5-7PM Tuesday with a 7PM Prayer Service at Erickson-Smith Funeral Home, Hoffman, and resuming one hour prior to the service at the church.

Memorial Service: 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Zion Lutheran Church, Hoffman
