Kareen Kjelstrup

Kareen Kjelstrup passed away on June 10, 2015 in California at the age of 68 with friends and hospice by her side. Kareen was born May 27, 1947 in Fergus Falls, the daughter of Asbjorne & Agnes (Bardahl) Kjelstrup. Kareen was baptized and confirmed at Erdahl Lutheran Church. She graduated from Elbow Lake High School and also the University of Minnesota. Kareen moved to California and was employed at Cambridge University Press. She loved spending time at the beach, hiking and traveling. Picture taking was an enjoyable hobby. Kareen is survived by her sister, Ann (Donovan) Grover of Ashby; nieces, Elizabeth Grover and Rachel Grover, both of Ashby, and extended family and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents, Asbjorne & Agnes.
