Larry Winter, age 67 of Hoffman, MN died February 17, 2019 in Florida.

Larry Stuart Winter was born May 4, 1951 in Morris, MN to Stanley and Florence (Gades) Winter. He was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Hoffman. Larry graduated from Hoffman High School and furthered his education at Moorhead State University.

Larry continued to live in Moorhead until moving back to the Hoffman area in 2009. He enjoyed spending winters in Ft. Pierce, Florida where he was active in High Point Men’s Club.

Larry was owner and operator of Larry Winter Trucking, Inc. His interests include classic cars, traveling, playing piano, and dining out. He always enjoyed having a Haunted House during Halloween.

Survivors include his brother, Scott (Nancy) Winter of Hoffman; nieces & nephew, Jeanne (Bruce Marts), Chris (Heather) Winter of Hoffman; 2 aunts, Lydia Peterson and Janice Gades; Good Friends, Lynn & Jean Georgius, Janice Desatnik and Rick Mattson; along with numerous cousins, great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley & Florence Winter.

Memorials are preferred to the American Diabetes Association.
