Leone Sellner

Leone Isabelle (Issie) was born on May 21, 1931 to Leonard and Lillian Gunderson in St. Peter, MN. At age thirteen, Isabelle met the love of her life, Eugene "Jeep" Sellner; they were married September 16, 1950 and enjoyed 52 years of marriage. Issie spent her lifetime taking care of her family. She and Jeep lived in Bloomington and Duluth, MN, retiring in 1985 to their home built with their son, Keith, on Ten Mile Lake in Dalton, MN. As a devoted wife and mother, Isabelle avoided the spotlight and preferred that it shine on her family and friends. Issie passed peacefully on June 30, 2016 and has now reunited with her loving husband, Jeep. She was preceded in death by her husband Jeep; her parents; an infant grandson, Daniel Simon; brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law: Irvin and Cora Gunderson, Glenn and Gerry Gunderson, Elmer Struck, George and Jane Sellner, Myrtle and Les Andrews, Lorraine and Vince Blake, Geneva Roberts, Dolores and Tope Craig, Cleteus and Pam Sellner. She is survived by her children: Jeanne (Warren) Candy, Dale (Patty Mester) Sellner, Steven (Anita) Sellner, Pat (Jim) Simon and Keith (Linda) Sellner; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and another great-grandchild due in July. Isabelle is also survived by her sister, Lorraine Struck; sister-in-law, Evelyn Gunderson; numerous nieces and nephews; and best friends, Jerry and Virgie Currier. Memorials are preferred to Lakeland Hospice. Funeral Service: 11 AM Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at Bethlehem/West Elbow Lake Lutheran Church in Elbow Lake, with visitation from 10 – 11 AM.
