Lori Anne Ehlers

Lori Anne (Kjeldahl) Ehlers, 44, of Hoffman, MN, passed away at her residence on March 19, 2024. 

Lori Ehlers, beloved daughter of Kenneth and Elaine Kjeldahl, was born on April 13, 1979, in Edina, Minnesota. She was baptized at St. John Neuman Catholic Parish and later confirmed at Mary Mother Catholic Church. Lori's childhood in Eagan was filled with cherished memories, growing up in a close-knit neighborhood where she formed lifelong bonds. She attended Metcalf Junior High and graduated from Burnsville High School in 1997, where she was an active member of the Girls Varsity Hockey Team and known for her social nature.

After high school, Lori attended Rasmussen College in Eagan for two years before marrying Jesse P. Ehlers in March 2010, and later Jacob Bartos on December 21, 2020, in Elbow Lake, Minnesota. She started a career as a Claims Specialist, working at Blue Cross Blue Shield and more recently at Pilot in Alexandria. Lori found joy in playing and watching hockey, skiing, crafting, gardening, and spending quality time with her children.

Lori will be deeply missed by her husband, Jacob Bartos, and first husband Jesse Ehlers; her parents Kenneth and Elaine Kjeldahl; her sons Tyler (Leah Melat) Kjeldahl, Shane (Brooklyn Jacobson) Ehlers, Keaten Ehlers, and Cayden Ehlers; her sisters, Sara J. Kjeldahl and Amy L. Kjeldahl; her sister-in-law, JoAnnah Sanchez; her nephews Robert Kjeldahl, Alexander Kjeldahl, and Jackson Fletcher; along with a wide circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her grandparents and her brother-in-law, Kyle Fletcher.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on April 13, 2024, at Messiah Lutheran Church to honor her memory and the impact she had on all those who knew her. Visitation begins at 12:00 noon until the time of service. 

The family appreciates the thoughts, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Lori will forever be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and the love she shared with those around her. May she rest in peace.
