Marian Pederson

Marian Pederson, 91 of Barrett, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Villa Maria in Fargo, ND.

Marian was born in Wendell, MN to Ole and Anna (Asleson) Karlstad. She was baptized and confirmed into the Christian faith and graduated from Elbow Lake High School in 1947. On November 21, 1947, Marian was united in marriage to Elmo Pederson. Together they lived in Barrett until Elmo passed away in 2005. Marian continued to live in Barrett until 2016, when she moved to West Fargo, to live with her daughter, Deb.

Marian was a member of the Legion Auxiliary, and a member of Peace Lutheran Church. She enjoyed dancing, reading, crafting, sewing, bowling in her younger years, and bingo with her friends. She cherished the time spent with her family.

Marian is survived by her sons, Larry (Helen), Trego, WI, and Keith (Connie), Fergus Falls, and one daughter, Debra (Steve), West Fargo; 2 grandsons, Cory and Bret, one granddaughter, Jena, and 7 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Judy and Barb, and brother David.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo; parents; brothers Duane and Warren and sisters, Joyce, Kathy, and Peggy.

Funeral Service: 1:00PM Friday, June 4, 2021, at the Erickson-Smith Funeral Home, Elbow Lake with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Interment: Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Barrett
