Mary Grove

Mary D, Grove, 68, of Hoffman, passed away December 2, 2022, at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND, surrounded by her family.

Mary was born May 15, 1954, to parents Barb and Edward Doll in St. Louis, Missouri. Her family later moved to Minnesota where she graduated from Fergus Falls High School. After High School, Mary welcomed to the world her son Chris. On January 12, 1985 Mary was united in marriage to Bill Grove, with this union Mary welcomed as her own, two more children: Billie Jo and Shannon.

Mary enjoyed vanning, camping, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, gardening, and anything she could do outside. She loved Christmas and always made it special for her family. Most importantly, Mary loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents Barb and Edward Doll; sister Jennifer; father-in-law Clint “Pops”; nephews Cody, Matthew, Jacob, and Justin; and her beloved dog Starr.

She is survived by her husband Bill Grove; children Chris (Christina) Alfredson, Billie Jo (Chad Heidinger) Grove, Shannon (Michele) Grove; grandchildren Stephanie, Teasha, Brandy, Taiya, Amber (Gabe), Paton, Shelby, McKenzi, Lincoln, Monroe; 9 great-grandchildren with another one on the way; sister Jan; brother Rick; mother-in-law Evie Grove; and many nieces, nephews, and in-law’s.

Memorial Service to be held Friday, December 9, 2022, at 3:00 PM at Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls, MN, with a visitation beginning an hour prior.
