Patricia Eggers

Patricia Ann was born on January 1, 1947, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Othel W. and Helen (Hansen) Sinclair.

She grew up in Minneapolis and graduated from high school in 1964.  While in high school she operated the switchboard and also took notes for the music teacher.  After graduation she worked as a secretary at the University of Minnesota Medical School.  She then went on to work for Vic Manufacturing in Minneapolis. 

She enjoyed Square dancing and met her future husband Norbert Eggers at a dance at the YMCA.

They were married on May 10, 1969, at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Minneapolis.  They made their home in Minneapolis for several years.  In 1978 they moved to Moundsview, MN.   In 1980, Patricia and Norbert adopted their only child, daughter Bobbie Jo.  Patricia worked at Vic Manufacturing for 14 years, before she decided to leave and become a stay-at-home mother. 

Patricia and Norbert moved to Hoffman, Minnesota after Norbert retired in 1999.

Patricia enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, square dancing and listening to all kinds of music. 

She relied on her faith and took comfort in knowing God was guiding her.

Patricia died peacefully on Monday February 27, 2023, at St. Williams Living Center in Parkers Prairie, Minnesota at the age of 76 years, 1 month and 26 days.

Patricia is survived by her husband of 54 years, Norbert of Hoffman, and daughter Bobbie Jo of Hoffman, 4 Grandchildren Dustin (Kari), Joseph, Tianna, and Sierra.  Two Great Grandchildren Lucas and Braelynn and 3 Bonus Great Grandchildren, Riley, Hayden and Hunter. Sister Iona and several nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her Parents, Othel and Helen Sinclair.  Father-in-law and Mother in-law Dietrich and Minnie Eggers, and four brothers in-law, and four sisters in-law.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Zion Lutheran Church, Hoffman, MN, with visitation starting one hour prior to the service.
