Sasha Hedstrom, 32 of Alexandria, died Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Sasha Adair Hedstrom was born on November 11, 1987, in Breckenridge, Minnesota the daughter of Dean and Mary (Anderson) Hedstrom. She was baptized and confirmed in Bethel Lutheran Church in Wahpeton, North Dakota. Sasha attended Breckenridge Public School and her senior year at New York Mills High School, graduating in 2007.
She was employed in Wadena with The Rising Phoenix and in 2014, Sasha started with Alexandria Opportunity Center. She liked camping, horses, dogs, ceramics, movies, going to the YMCA, arts and crafts, especially working with beads and strings making wrist bands. Every day she would braid her hair and it always looked perfect. Sasha loved to go places with her Mom and Dad, and her favorite place was WalMart. She and Darla enjoyed many trips to St. Cloud. She was a giving person. She loved helping, wouldn’t ask but would just do and was known for saying, “Have a good day”.
Sasha is survived by her parents, Dean & Mary, and sister, Darla Hedstrom, all of Alexandria, along with numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Darwin & Mavis Hedstrom, and Earl & Eileen Anderson; three aunts, Pam Thomas, Ruth Susie Rhude and Lea Puchalski.

Visitation: 3:00 – 7:00 PM Saturday at Erickson-Smith Funeral Home, Hoffman
