Theolyn (Mrs. Albert) Weimerskirch, 97, died at the Barrett Care Center in Barrett on Tuesday, August 31, 2010.
Theolyn was born on August 22, 1913, in St. Cloud, Minnesota, to Martin and Frances (Schmidt) Storkamp. She grew up and attended school in St. Cloud where she received her teaching certificate from the St. Cloud Teachers College. She taught in Paynesville, Sauk Centre, Belgrade, and Elbow Lake.
On June 12, 1946, Theolyn was united in marriage to Albert Adolph Weimerskirch at the St. Cloud Cathedral. She and Albert farmed near Norcross for many years where she was active in the North Ottawa Homemaker's Club. She enjoyed gardening, reading, crocheting, and baking cookies. She and Albert were members of St. Olaf's Catholic Church in Elbow Lake. In 2007, Theolyn moved to the Barrett Care Center.
She is survived by her husband Albert, Barrett; daughters Dianne (Arlyn) Lamb of Farmington, Minnesota, and Carol (Bob) Hanken of Jamestown, North Dakota; grandchildren Tanya (Brian) Strese, Katie (Ryan Hust) O'Meara, Gannon O'Meara, and Carin (Dave) Worrell; great-grandchildren Logan and Allie Worrell, Emma Hust-O'Meara, and Desirae Strese.
Theolyn was preceded in death by her parents Martin and Frances Storkamp, and her sister Elsie Steenberg.
