Bill Bottemiller, age 51, of Elbow Lake, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2009. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, April 24, 2009, at the Presbyterian Church of the Master in Coon Rapids. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service. William Curtis Bottemiller was born on March 25, 1958, in Sauk Centre, Minnesota, to William Charles and Eloise Jean (Kern) Bottemiller. He lived in Sauk Centre until moving to Coon Rapids with his family. He graduated from Coon Rapids High School in 1976 and attended the Alexandria Technical School in their truck driving program. On April 2, 1982, he was united in marriage to Cindy Waite in Anoka, and the couple made their home in Coon Rapids where their two daughters, Rachel and Jolene, were born. The family moved to Elbow Lake in 1988. Bill enjoyed snowmobiling and four-wheeling, golfing, spending time at the family farm, large bonfires, watching football, and supporting his daughters in their school activities. He was extremely proud of his daughters. In his younger years, Bill enjoyed playing the piano. He is survived by his wife Cindy of Elbow Lake; daughters Rachel (Jeremy) Nyman of Duluth and Jolene (Jonathan) Harms of New Brighton; his father William Bottemiller of Coon Rapids; his brother Robert Bottemiller of Coon Rapids; sisters-in-law Tony Bottemiller of Coon Rapids, Judith Waite-Blaisdell of Anthem, AZ, and Sue (Roger) Stark of Quamba; and brothers-in-law Steve (Kathy) Waite of Arthyde and Mark (Debbie) Waite of Coon Rapids. He is also survived and loved by many neices, nephews, family and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his mother; his grandparents; one nephew, Ryan Bottemiller; and Philip and Sally Waite and Bradly Waite.
